About Us

Shree Nasik Panchavati Panjrapole (SNPP) is a 147 years old Registered Public Charitable Trust (Estd. 1878) based at Nashik, Maharashtra. We are actively engaged in various social, environmental and animal welfare activities.

Being a Gaushala, we are dedicated to serve, nourish and care for all types of cows.
We lovingly care for over 1,500 cows throughout their lives, including old, disabled, sick, handicapped, and non-productive cows.

Dedicated to organic farming and natural fodder, we’ve created a haven for native flora, birds, bees, butterflies, and countless micro-ecosystems. By preserving traditional practices in harmony with sustainable innovation, SNPP is not just a gaushala—it’s a living, breathing sanctuary for biodiversity in the heart of Nashik.

Donations paid to us are exempted under 80G of income tax. We are eligible to obtain CSR funds from the corporate sector u/s section 135(1) of the Companies Act, 2013.

Mission

We provide lifelong care and nourishment to over 1,500 cows, especially those that are old, sick, or disabled. We also protect the environment by planting trees, conserving water, and promoting sustainable farming to improve community well-being.

Vision

We dream of a world where people value cows and nature, working together to create a sustainable future. By planting trees, saving water, using clean energy, and caring for our cows, we hope to show others how to build a greener, healthier planet.

History

Shree Nasik Panchavati Panjrapole (SNPP) is a registered public charitable trust founded in 1878 in Nashik, Maharashtra, India. It is spread mainly across three farms in Panchavati, Peth Road, and Chunchale. The organization was significantly developed by trustee Shri Pragji Mavji Javeri (1888–1965), who improved infrastructure and cattle breeds. Later, Shri Ramji Pragji (Gorakhbhai) Javeri introduced scientific advancements, including a Frozen Semen & Embryo Transfer Laboratory in 1987 with the National Dairy Development Board. The organization is currently managed by Shri Hitesh Ramji Javeri (Gopal bhai).

Apart from Gaushala activities, SNPP is currently focused on promoting environmental sustainability through tree planting, rainwater harvesting, and organic farming. It engages in charitable activities like providing discounted milk to schools and hospitals and supports agro-tourism and community welfare.
